I Won't Be Feeling The Noise After All..

Because I totally freaking rock as an awesome wife.

Seriously.

We had tickets with backstage passes to go and see Quiet Riot tonight. A band called Demon Driver was opening for them. Hmm. Anyways. More on that later.

We have a good friend who is going through a really awful divorce from this evil psychotic bitch. I figured since it's one of my husband's best friends and I really feel sorry for him I thought it would be great if the two of them go together and get trashed as two guys out at a metal show.

They were both so stoked.  Really, you should have seen their faces when I said they could go toghether without me.

It wasn't that I didn't want to see Quiet Riot, I did. I just didn't have enough hairspray to make my hair look like this:

And you know I would have had to do the big hair and leather and all to go see Quiet Riot: But I think my clothes from that era have all shrunk! ;-)

The funny thing is as much as I would have liked to see them in concert I don't think I would have truly enjoyed it as much as the boys will by themselves.  There are sure to be some trashy groupies there for them to stare at. And that's fine with me. As long as mine comes home to me. Got it?

I did make them promise to take pics and they took my vinyl album to get signed (Metal Health) since they get to go backstage and meet the band. It's not the end of the world for me. I checked out Demon Driver on myspace and trust me I'm saving myself one big headache....ugh.

So...looks like I'm staying home with the boy, and a bottle of Jim Beam. Sounds just fine to me. The boys will be in bed in less than two hours....it's gonna be a good nite afterall.
