It's Friday Bitches!!!!!(WOO HOO)
Oops sorry did I say that out loud??
I just got home with my kids...contemplating that first good ole' Jim Beam and Coke...mmmmmm I can feel it slide down my throat now..aherm..
Fridays....
What can I say about Fridays...
They are the end of the week of homework hell that I have to endure weekly as a mother of 3 school aged boys.
With 3 boys homework takes about 4 hours a night...yes you read that right...
For ELEMENTARY kids..
Austin is in 3rd grade....homework is RIDICULOUS in 3rd grade...so much to the point that I am already DREADING 4th grade...
Aaron is in 2nd grade....he is my mild autie/adhd/ocd kid...Homework is NO FUN with him...I practically have to sit on him to get homework done..
It's not much better with Christian my other Autistic 1st grader...
Almost makes me consider homeschooling just so there's no "homework" but then it would all be "homework" and mommy would get NO BREAKS...
So yes...it's friday...and I'm planning on getting my drink on..
God knows I've earned it this week...
Going to go and read everyone else's blogs now and comment...
THEN- Let the drinking begin!!
(oh and don't worry...I don't drink in front of the kids...I hide in the bathroom..JUST KIDDING)
What I meant to say there is I don't really get going until after the 9pm bedtime...

Amen to the homework thing! My son, Nathan. is in the first grade. It's like pulling teeth to get him to do it in a timely fashion, I can't imagine THREE!
I think that people that home school are secret sadists.. or at least martyrs.
My reisling gets opened at 8:30 on the dot!
The funny thing is that we attempted to homeschool the kids a little over two years ago...
It just didn't work out...I was pretty sad about it..I really thought that public school wasn't the best place for my two special needs boys...there isn't much of a special ed program here in the rural area that I live in..so they were just kinda shoved in a regular classroom...they were taunted, picked on, bullied, I just couldn't stand to send them to school.
This year has been better...they are getting bigger and learning how to fight back...
I don't miss the homeschooling now...I am GLAD that it didnt' work out...I was a basketcase daily from having no breaks from them..
I NEED for them to go to school...LOL
