QotD: It Was Kismet

How did you meet your current, or most recent, significant other?

I met my husband at the young age of 19. I was about to move into my first apartment. Being the hippie, rocker, cool chick I was I needed some Decor...so off I went to the local mall. I walked into Spencer's Gifts looking for lava lamps, hippie beads, you know..first apartment decor..

There he was...sitting behind the counter...this redheaded cutie...I was smitten....I bought a bunch of shit...and we went into the store room to smoke cigarettes and talk...while I was checking out he gave me this application for a discount card for future purchases...so I filled it out..the usual info..name, address, phone..

I didn't think much else about it until a week or so later when I got a phone call...

"Hey it's Bart from Spencers..."

So we made a date...

Less than two months later we had moved in together...and the rest is history...

We've been together now for almost 12 years, and had 3 kids..

I would marry him again in  a heartbeat.
