What's something you bought, knowing it was a total waste of money?

Every piece of exercise equipment I own...and believe me there's a lot of that shit laying around here..

I have an Ab Lounge, A Weider Crossbow Platinum Home Gym, and just about every infomercial exercise product on the face of this earth...as well as about 200 DVD's of workouts..

I am sure it is all great equipment...I just used it all for like a week and then gave up...and got a gym membership.

I go to Gold's Gym. (Not as often as I would like to but I DO go..)

My theory was that I would exercise more if I had a Gym at home...the truth is with three little boys around there is no TIME to exercise at home...when I am home THEY take up ALL OF MY TIME.

At least I have learned that GYM time is MOMMY time...no kids... Just me and my iPod, and plenty of time to work out any frustrations I have...

Oh god, one year the long suffering child bride and I bought every piece of infomercial kitchen stuff imaginable, knifes, grillers, juicers, peelers, pots, pans..I think we put George Foreman's grand kids through college....then we were considering the excercise stuff when we realized we had to stop...

Oh yeah..I've got all that shit too..but i use it so it's not really a waste...

But an actual gym membership is what actually made me get up off of my ass.

Amen Sister....it was the ONLY thing that made me go exercise..well that and a hot personal trainer..;-)

I agree. I've had a Gazelle, Total Gym, and Elliptical Machine but none got me motivated enough. Also, having kids does consume much of my time - I feel you there.
