St. Patty's Day Date Night
So last night Bart and I had a date night. We went to Molly's Pub in Conroe to see The Natives Are Restless play. I'll post a song so you can see what their music is like. They're a pretty cool local band.
Bart and I hadn't been out on a date night since January 31st. Yeah, almost 2 months. We had a good time though. Of course we drank too much, as usual when we go to the Pub. LOL. I lost count of how many Jagermeister shots I had after 10. I bought drinks for a LOT of people on my tab last night and was FLOORED when I got the bill and it was over a hundred bucks. I'm thankful we got our Tax return this week or this would have been a real buzzkill.
We made the obligatory stop at Whataburger on the way home and I got a Taquito which I found half eaten on my nightstand this morning. I also woke up with my underwear on wrong side out...and my pants were nowhere to be found so I guess we had a rip roaring good time. LOL. I VAGUELY remember the going to bed last night.
You gotta love date nights where you get to act like you did when you were younger and stupider, back when you fell in love. It reminds you of the days when things were simpler, before kids, before responsibility came along and crushed you under it's weight.
This morning I woke up and remembered why I don't binge drink like that. Ugh... The headache and general asslike feeling was intense. I'm rehydrated now and I had some toast and coffee and a banana so I'm already feeling much better. I'm going to spend the day on the couch trying to finish season 4 of Battlestar Galactica. The Series Finale is Friday night, and I'll spend the entire day Friday watching season 4.5 while they run it in marathon on Sci Fi Network. And then I'll cry my eyes out when it's all over

LOL, I can put it away, but I'd be blowing chunks if I did ten+ shots of Jager...dang I gots to party with you, plus you buy drinks!
I limited myself to 3 beers & some "foofy" drink... which limited my after effects to some mild dehydration.
I'd LOVE to party with you!! I'll buy the drinks...but ya gotta keep up with me!! LOL.
Even with all the money I spent last night it was totally worth it.
It was a good night. I hope we get to do it again soon.
Of course, my original limit was "one or two beers". Then I got an alcoholic cappucino drink. But after a sip or 2, decided it sucked, and ordered the Yellow Bird (btw: Mine was brown when it arrived... extra rum in it). Then the bouncer gave me a free beer....
This is why I don't go out too often anymore.
