Waiting Until April For Normalcy?

Comments

She didn't laugh at that?! Maybe she should set an appointment for herself. In April, of course.

Figures...it's enough to make you lose your mind.

Well, at least you've hung on to your sense of humor. That was funny a hell. Sweet tags, too!
Kirk Starr is right at least you held on to your sense of humor.

on the serious side, is your appointment for a medication check up or for the counseling session? I actually have a psychiatrist I see for my medications and counselor for my therapy sessions. It is much easier to get the appointments that way. Although my appointments with my therapist have to be made a month in advance most times, but that is not so hard since I tend to see her once a month; I just make the appointment for the next month after my visit.
Thanks guys...the appointment was my first one in 4 months...I need to get my meds reworked so I have to see the psychiatrist for this...I don't have the luxury of health insurance so it's all out of pocket for me..for the meds and the office visit..should be a hefty bill. But worth it for my health and my family..
Oh Lol I was just going to type "be sure to tell your vet'

What I mean to type/say is be sure to tell your doctor that you do not have the luxury of insurance for the meds that he has you on. That way he will be sure to write any and all prescriptions in such a way that will allow for generics. He/she may also be able to give you samples for some of your meds. Even if you can only get a handful of pills in a sample it will help to stretch your prescription so you do not have to pay so soon. Have you checked with some of the drug companies to see if they have a low cost program to help you get your prescriptions? I know they advertise about programs like that but I do not know what the rules are for qualifying.

I know I am very fortunate to have the insurance from my Union to help me pay for my meds. I tend to complain about how little they cover or how they cover mental health care differently than physical health care. In my opinion they are one and the same. If your mental health is an issue it effects your physical health as well. Despite my gripes with them I know my insurance is a blessing. The meds I take would have me living on the streets without a home by now if I had to pay for them outright.

Hugs to you (if you do not mind) until you get to see the doc. I know for me a hug from one of my friends can be a life line.
